Tyson Rutledge

Growing up it the Missouri Ozarks, Tyson Rutledge has always been attracted to the outdoors.  He began hunting at age 11 and was immediately drawn to the sport.

Best known for his Turkey hunting and calling abilities, Tyson has participated in many activities associated with the sport.  Tyson also served as a judge and has participated in numerous calling contests across Missouri and Arkansas.  In 2000, Tyson was the National Amateur Champion in Yellville, AR, as well as the second runner-up in the National Open Championship.  In 2000, Tyson placed first in the Searcy County Open in Marshall, AR.  In 1999, Tyson placed in the Top Ten in the US Open in Springfield, MO.

Tyson is also an avid White Tail Deer hunter.  He often harvests mature bucks with both bow and rifle.  He has served as a guide for many hunts; for both deer and turkey seasons.  Tyson has appeared in outdoor magazines where he was featured for his turkey hunting expertise.  Tyson has been featured on the ESPN Outdoors radio show, as well as numerous other radios shows across the state of Missouri.

Tyson has been part of Hunter’s Specialties Calling Team and Field Staff for several years.  He is also a member of Realtree Outdoors Local Pro Staff.  Tyson serves as an active committee member of his local chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation.  He has led many seminars focusing on J.A.K.E.S., Women in the Outdoors, local schools, community events, etc.  One of Tyson’s passions is getting the youth involved in hunting to preserve the sport as well as the environment for the future of the industry.
